The Hunterdon County Board of Health has assumed the responsibilities for public health related issues concerning the Borough of Hampton as of June 2010. If any residents have complaints that are health related (Septic system failure, hazardous waste materials, communicable disease reporting, quarantine of animals with potential rabies infection, etc) please call the Hunterdon County Board of Health at their contact number noted above. Other responsibilities of the County Health Board would include:
- Review of residential septic designs
- Investigate health code violations
- Inspection of local business establishments
