Hello, my fellow citizens!
First off, I would like to inform you that the celebration of our city’s 200th founding anniversary went by without any issues. Thanks to our Police Officers, Firemen and honorable people who came to witness the spectacle, not a single weapon shot, firecracker or anything like that was there to ruin the atmosphere. With that being said, I would like to thank all of you who came and shed glory to our little (but the most beautiful) city!
If you did not know, the official anniversary of our city’s founding was supposed to be held in the main square on 2nd of May. Unfortunately, due to bad weather conditions (it was heavily raining for the bigger part of the day) we had to postpone it to 3rd of May. Despite that, still, we have an amazing number of people who showed up and were ready to party!
The event started off with 5 children’s performances from both of our local kindergartens. Children of all ages showed us that even the smallest hands can create big things. Among other things, we could also hear a couple of wise words coming from our major, Mr. Kentucky. Moreover, the party was continued with our local band The Beauty and the Myst who rocked on for more than 2 hours. The crowd had the chance to try our famous hot dogs completely free of charge, courtesy of Madam Beaty’s Bakery. I grabbed at least 4 of them (to be honest, it was way more than 4 haha) and I gotta say – Madam Beaty’s hot dogs are like wine – with each passing year they become better and better!
In the end, the party was concluded by our local choir who sang our official anthem after which the crowd slowly started leaving the vicinity. All in all, it was a great experience and, after another 100 years, I am sure our grandkids and their kids after them will make us proud with an even bigger spectacle!
On behalf of Mrs. and Mr. Kennedy, I am happy to inform you that we have another public attraction in our dearest city. In a couple of weeks from now, Kennedy Farm is going to be open for business. With an interesting business schematic (sort of like a zoo but with domestic animals), I am positive Kennedy Farm will be a proper attraction.
The main goal of this new public attraction is to bring teenagers and basically children of all ages closer to farms and domestic animals. I don’t have to tell you that, due to our rapid growth in technology, our children are becoming slaves to their smartphones, tablets, PCs and all that fancy stuff. That’s why attractions such as this one are vital for their well-being. It will help keep them away from technology and encourage them to set off a career in agriculture. Due to the fact our city, Hampton Borough, is rich with farms and flourishing lands, I am sure this will serve as a jumping board for a brighter future.
When exactly will it open and what can we expect?
When it comes to the official date, it’s scheduled for early June which means our children will be set for it as soon as Summer kicks off. The official working schedule is going to be as follows:
- Monday 8 am to 5 pm
- Tuesday 2 pm to 8 pm
- Wednesday 8 am to 5 pm
- Thursday 2 pm to 8 pm
- Friday 8 am to 5 pm
- Saturday 10 am to 2 pm
- Sunday RESERVATIONS ONLY
Pricing has not yet been announced but I am sure Mrs. and Mr. Kennedy will not price the entrance too high. In addition to the entrance, you will also have the chance to take pictures with the animals and even do some fun activities such as drone and GoKart races (is not included in the entrance fee).
Finally, my dear fellow Hamptons, we are getting a brand new recreational park. I am happy to announce this terrific news that will definitely keep our little city as beautiful as always. It is a big deal and I’m sure many of you will gladly welcome this project. Throughout this article, I will do my best to give you an in-depth look at the project. Additionally, I will also discuss the due dates for the completion since we are talking about a broad timestamp at the moment!
When will this recreational park be finished?
Unfortunately, the work is not going to start anytime soon though. We have just completed the general project and business plans. A long way is ahead of us until the completion of this entire project. We are talking 6 months at the very least… Will it be done until the end of the year? I hope so, but I can’t say for sure with the current state of affairs. On the other hand, what I can say is that this park is going to be admirable for the entire area. It will consist of only the highest quality infrastructure as well as building materials. All that will ensure a state of the art appearance which will, I’m sure, attract many visitors on a daily basis.
What will be the name?
I know this is something that a lot of you want to know asap, so here’s the deal. A couple of weeks prior to the official opening of our new recreational park, we will have a public poll on this website where all Hampton Borough citizens will have a chance to vote for their favorites. Unfortunately, citizens will not have the right to add new name options (to prevent names such as Park McParkFace) but will be able to let their voices be heard nevertheless.
All in all, our new recreational park will be something to brag around with, that’s for sure! As soon as we have more available information I will make sure you guys are properly informed!
